Darlington Okoye, alias Speed Darlington, a Nigerian-American musician, has claimed that, in contrast to many of his contemporaries, he does not create music for “poor people.”

In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, which was co-hosted by actor Nedu, comedian Husband Material, and Diety Cole, he made this claim.

Speed Darlington claimed that Audiomack is a streaming service for the underprivileged.

I don’t m*ss with Audiomack, he declared. Poor folks should use Audiomack. My music isn’t for the underprivileged.

“You can’t have my song if you don’t have money,” I said.
