In order to screen prospective general duty and specialty constables in Enugu State, the Nigerian Police and the Police Service Commission (PSC) are presently performing physical and credential screenings.

The screening was going off without a hitch, according to a NAN reporter who went to the Police Officers’ Mess on Agbani Road on Friday to cover the event.

Exercise officials began screening participants on January 8th and excluded those with a variety of disabilities, including but not limited to tattoos, amputations, speech impediments, deformities, and obesity.

State Police Public Relations Officer DSP Daniel Ndukwe commented on the practice, saying that screening had been running smoothly without any problems.

The candidates for the position of constable, according to Ndukwe, had been cooperative and had shown up on time for their screening as scheduled, meeting all of the prerequisites.

He claims that the prospective candidates’ orderliness, etiquette, and behavior during the screening process are readily apparent.

Since Monday, when we began the exercise, everything has gone according to plan.

He expressed confidence that the screening process will be completed by the exercise’s Jan. 29 deadline.
