Cristiano Ronaldo has arrived at Carrington to practice with Manchester United’s under-21 squad after being released from the first team roster.

The Portuguese star, who was due to enter as a substitute in Wednesday’s 2-0 triumph against Tottenham, instead chose to practice alone with coaches after arriving at 8.30 with the Under-21s.

Ronaldo departed the United stadium immediately after the match against Tottenham ended, walking down the tunnel.

He gathered his luggage from the locker room in the 89th minute and departed Old Trafford before the final horn.

Ronaldo was fired and demoted from the first squad due to his attitude, and he won’t participate in this weekend’s match against Chelsea.

Cristiano won’t be playing for Manchester United against Chelsea on Saturday, according to a club statement. The rest of the team is totally committed to getting ready for that game.

On Friday, Ten Hag will speak to the media. During that time, he will be questioned more about Ronaldo and what will happen with regard to his expulsion from the first-team squad.
