Thursday’s 2-1 Nations League victory against Wales saw Hazard play 65 minutes.
The midfielder acknowledged he needed more game time at Real Madrid before the 2022 World Cup after the match, though.
After making just one start for Real this year, Hazard has hardly played.
Hazard told RTL, “I was thrilled to start another game.
“I assume you saw that. I enjoy playing, and it was good to play in front of the Brussels fans once more.
It was a great first half for us.
“I am aware of my abilities. My current goal is to prepare for the World Cup.
I’m happiest when I’m playing, but we’ll see what the coach [Roberto Martinez] chooses.
“I give it everything when I play. Real Madrid’s condition is delicate.
I want to play more, but I am at a loss on what to do.
“I’ve always claimed that when Eden Hazard plays, the old Eden Hazard will return.
All I have to do is regain my groove.
