Posted by Dr. Olasupo Olusi has been appointed MD/CEO of the Bank of Industry (BOI) with the blessing of President Bola Tinubu.
In the first instance, the appointment will last for four years.
On Thursday, Special Adviser to the President for Media and Publicity Ajuri Ngelale made the announcement.
Ngelale stated that Tinubu had given his blessing to Olusi’s nomination after the resignation of Mr. Olukayode Pitan as BOI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
The statement claims that Olusi has spent the past two decades working for the World Bank as an economist and expert in development finance.
The Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance relied on him as an economic advisor for a time.
