Oba Francis Alao, the Olugbon of Orile Igbon, is confident that President Bola Tinubu’s administration will restore Nigeria to its former glory.

The Oyo monarch said in a speech on Saturday that people should expect a country free of corruption as well as increased benefits from democracy.

Oba Alao made the comments at the official opening of his new palace and the sixth anniversary of his coronation.

A few notable people with traditional titles were installed at the event, which also marked his 60th birthday.

The king mentioned that Tinubu’s “laudable things” since being elected on May 29 are evident to the public.

The Nigerian president, according to Oba Alao, “has the capacity for it” and has demonstrated the viability of true government.

“Corruption won’t exist any longer. Every Nigerian will experience government at their doorstep thanks to Tinubu.

“A lot of changes would have been made in this country before Asiwaju clocks 100 days in office,” he said.

The king continued by saying that “the youth, young, old, the haves and the have-nots” would be affected by the President.

The former First Lady of Oyo was installed as Yeye Oba Olugbon of Orile Igbon, while Governor Seyi Makinde was crowned as Aare Orile Igbon of Igboland.
