What will happen when I leave Arsenal – Arteta

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has said he wants to leave good memories at the club when he eventually leaves in the future.

Arteta was appointed as permanent boss in December 2019 as Unai Emery’s replacement.

Within his first year, the Spaniard won the FA Cup and the Community Shield for the Gunners.

During his first two full seasons, Arsenal finished in eighth place. Last year, they narrowly missed out on a top-four place to rivals Tottenham.

Arteta’s men have led the Premier League for most of the 2022/2023 campaign, but look set to miss out on the title to Manchester City.

“The moment I leave this door one day and I look back and I come here, I will say we had good times.

“You know, it was enjoyment working here.

“It was enjoyment, it was challenging, it was inspiring, and it was worth all the sacrifices that we make in our lives to put everything that we can to improve the club. That’s for me what it’s about,” Arteta told Sky Sports.
