In Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s term as Manchester United manager, legendary Liverpool player Jamie Carragher has spoken out about Erik ten Hag.

According to Carragher, the Dutchman is only in his second week as coach at Old Trafford and faces the possibility of dismissal if United do not improve their record in the remaining games of the season.

After Ratcliffe’s 25% ownership in the club is finalized, his INEOS organization will take over football operations.

Due to the club’s dismal performance this season, rumors about Ten Hag’s future have begun to circulate.

The former Ajax coach is widely expected to depart Old Trafford soon.

Speaking of which, Carragher thinks the Red Devils are putting the Dutchman on trial at the moment.

After the ‘takeover’ by Ineos, Erik ten Hag has become manager of Manchester United. He will serve as the team’s de facto interim coach until the season concludes. According to Carragher’s article in The Telegraph, “he will have to go” if results and performances don’t improve significantly.
