On Monday night at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, Offor’s squad made their Nigeria Premier Football League debut with a 2-0 victory over the Savannah Scorpions.
In the 42nd minute, Rivio Ayemwenre scored the game’s first goal by heading in Jonathan Alukwu’s cross.

Deep in extra time, Mojeeb Odufeso had a chance to cut the score in half from the penalty spot, but he missed.
The victory, according to Offor, will boost his team’s morale and performance in future matches.
After the game, he informed the press, “Yes, we totally dominated the game.”
“We want to improve on our confidence going into this season,” the manager said, “so I’m very happy with the three points and the team performance.”
On Sunday, Sporting Lagos will play their next game against Akwa United.
