Stanley Okoro Emegha, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State, has tasked Frank Onwe, the former deputy whip of the state assembly, with aiding Governor Nwifuru in promoting peace in his town, Effium in the Ohaukwu council area.

Speaking at Onwe’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives (APC), Emegha pointed out that the state government cannot bring back complete peace and tranquility on its own without the support and cooperation of key players as well as the majority of the local indigenous population.

The APC helmsman praised Onwe and his supporters for their audacious move and emphasized that, in order to reap additional democratic benefits, everyone must unite behind Governor Nwifuru’s people-focused administration.

He reiterated the state government’s commitment to advancing the socioeconomic well-being of the Ebonyi people by accommodating all interests without violating any laws.

Emegha reaffirmed his commitment to making sure that everyone joins the APC for their mutual advantage.

Frank Onwe, an ex-lawmaker who served as the representative for Ohaukwu North Constituency in the Ebonyi state House of Assembly from 2011 to 2019, praised the governor’s enormous accomplishments thus far and expressed gratitude for the party’s cordial welcome.

In addition, he promised to be a devoted party member who would assist in reestablishing his neighborhood and the state.
