For those Nigerians living in or outside of the country who are interested in applying for a home through the National Housing Program, the Federal Ministry of Work and Housing has started the application process.
Mahmuda Mamman, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works and Housing, revealed this in a statement.
The announcement states that prospective homebuyers can get Expressions of Interest forms and participate in the evaluation process as part of the new home sales program.
Those who were granted a preliminary allocation offer between 2022 and 2023 and are still interested can reapply, it said.
A statement issued by Mamman stated that the Ministry is currently updating the conditions and processes for sales of properties under the National Housing Programme.
An Expression of Interest form needs to be filled out as part of the new sales procedure.
Anyone who was given a provisional allocation offer between 10 March 2022 and 18 October 2023 and is still interested can reapply by filling out the Expression of Interest form.
“The 36 states and the federal capital territory’s office of the federal controllers of housing and urban development is where interested subscribers may get their Expression of Interest forms for free.
“However, the office of the Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission has the necessary forms for any Nigerians in diaspora who wish to subscribe to the Houses.”
