ICE agents are on the hunt for illegal aliens

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has initiated a manhunt to identify and apprehend any non-citizens who are currently residing in Nigeria without proper documentation.

Samson Umar Agada, controller of the NIS Jigawa State Command, made the announcement on Friday while briefing reporters following the parade of suspects in human trafficking.

Agada added that the command’s responsibilities include checking the documentation of foreign nationals living in the country to ensure that it is in order and that they are following the law.

He claims, “Before my arrival, this aspect of inspection of companies was not active; but since my arrival, we have instituted a powerful team that will be going into companies to fish out non-Nigerians whose stay in the country is not within the rules.”
