In Katsina, police offer two bandits a N50 million prize

A N50 million reward has been offered by the Katsina State Police Command to two suspected bandit kingpins, Modi Modi and Jan Kare.

According to a statement made in Katsina by ASP Abubakar Aliyu, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, the police said that both individuals were behind the majority of the terrorist incidents that took place in the state.

The Katsina State Police Command would like to declare that anyone who can provide crucial information that results in the capture of two bandits’ kingpins will receive a reward of N50 million.

The masculine individuals operating in Katsina State, specifically in the Kankara and Safana Local Government Areas, are commonly referred to as Modi Modi and Jan Kare.

“The state government and the police command have committed to taking decisive action against criminal elements that pose a threat to the peace and stability of the state’s inhabitants because the safety and well-being of the residents are of utmost importance,” the speaker stated.

He said that in order to protect the informant and themselves, both their identity and the information they supplied would be kept completely secret.

“Any pertinent information that could aid the security authorities in apprehending the masterminds behind these horrible crimes of kidnapping and banditry in the state is invited to come forward,” he continued.
