It has been made public which Supreme Court justices will rule on Atiku and Obi’s petition against Tinubu

The appeals of Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Chichi Ojei have been assigned to a seven-member panel of justices at Nigeria’s Supreme Court.

Candidates for president from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Labour Party (LP), and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) are contesting the results of the election held on February 25.

Notices filed with the court and signed by Zainab M. Garba in the registrar’s office comply with Order 2, Rule 1 (2) of the Supreme Court’s Rules 1985, as amended.

Justices Musa Dattijo Muhammad, Uwani Musa Abba Aji, Lawal Garba, Helen M. Ogunwumiju, I.N. Saulawa, Tijjani Abubakar, and Emmanuel Agim are named in the notice as members of the panel that will hear the appeals.

Meanwhile, Atiku’s plea to provide new evidence alleging President Bola Tinubu submitted a fraudulent certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will be heard by the Supreme Court on Monday, October 23.
