Nigeria’s economy needs prayers, and primate Ayodele thinks floating the naira was a bad idea

Elijah Ayodele, the Primate of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, indicated that for Nigeria’s economy to overcome the misery it is currently facing, prayers are required.

Primate Ayodele asserted that despite the hopes the policy gives, the Nigerian economy will not improve as a result of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) decision to allow the currency to float.

The man of God explained that the floating of the naira was a bad move by President Bola Tinubu and will further cause economic problems as the prices of commodities will also soar in a statement signed by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin.

Primate Ayodele made it clear that the program will not benefit common Nigerians as the hardship will only get worse as a result of the policy.

In addition, he encouraged President Tinubu to examine himself in order to resolve Nigeria’s issues, failing which, the people of Nigeria would continue to suffer.

The floating of the naira is not what the nation needs at this time, according to Ayodele: “Nigeria’s economy still needs prayers to survive.

“Even while it gives the nation hope right now, it will cause economic pain and disappointment. We need prayers because the economy is in turmoil, thus nothing will be appreciated.

“There will be significant economic setup, and commodity prices will rise.

‘’The average Nigerian will not gain anything from this approach; instead, they will still have to deal with more difficult economic circumstances. It’s not the smartest move.

“The President made a mistake by allowing the naira to float; it’s a bad idea and won’t help our economy.” In order to improve things, the administration must still look inward; else, Nigeria will suffer.
