Premier League Chelsea get injury update before Arsenal match

Cole Palmer, a midfielder for Chelsea, is expected to play in the Blues’ Premier League match against the Arsenal on the following Saturday.

However, England’s match versus Ukraine in the European Championship qualifying round will take place without Palmer.

His right thigh was wrapped after he took a blow to it early in the 9-1 victory over Serbia.

He only played for six minutes after halftime before being taken out and replaced by Tino Livramento.

However, on Sunday afternoon, England Under-21 coach Carsley updated the situation.

Cole seems good to me, but we can’t afford to take any chances with anyone on the team.

We get them back to the teams as soon as possible if there is even a remote possibility that they will miss a weekend game.

We could have waited another day to see how things went with Cole, but we didn’t feel that was fair. Carsley reassured us, “Everyone else is fine, a few colds and sniffles.”
