The third round FA Cup match between Arsenal and Liverpool will take place at Emirates Stadium on Sunday night.
So far this season, both clubs have performed admirably in the race for the Premier League title.
“All the stats suggest this could be Liverpool’s game,” Savage wrote in his PlanetSport blog. Arsenal have lost seven of their previous eight matches, including a 1-0 loss to Liverpool.
The Emirates has been the site of three of their previous four victories. In my opinion, Liverpool might potentially come out on top if both sides are able to field their best possible eleven players.
“I believe [They] can exploit Arsenal in transition and on the counter-attack,” he continued.
“So, my money is on Liverpool coming out on top, 2-1.”
