Posted by Oluwaseyitan Aletile, better known by his stage name Seyi Law, is a Nigerian actor and comedian who has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration for planning to purchase a N5 billion presidential boat.
TWISCOLOADED reports that part of the expenditures suggested in the 2023 supplementary budget the President submitted to the National Assembly for approval includes a request to spend N5.095 billion on a presidential boat.
After hearing about the proposal, Seyi Law responded on X by calling it “insensitive to the plight of Nigerians.”
He demanded that the president change his mind.
“I am absolutely not in support of the procurement of the presidential yacht,” the comedian wrote. To even try to justify it would be extremely callous to the condition of Nigerians right now. I’m making a public plea to Nigeria’s president, @officialABAT, to show that he hears their concerns. As always, your Excellency, thank you.
