Nigeria Advances To Semifinals Of U-17 World Cup

Nigeria’s Under-17 squad, often known as the Flamingos, has advanced to the U-17 women’s World Cup semifinals this year.

For the first time in the tournament, the team would go to the last four.

The competition is now taking place in India.

In the quarterfinal match on Friday, the Nigerian girls defeated the USA on penalties to go to the semifinals.
