PDP governor of Imo state: “APC will not win” due to “rigging plot

Any attempt to manipulate the governor’s race on November 11 in Imo State, claim the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), would be met with fierce opposition.

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) claims that polls show it will easily defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State.

PDP National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba told reporters on Tuesday in Abuja that Governor Hope Uzodinma and the APC would not have the support of the people of the state in the next governorship election.

He claimed that the APC is well aware that it lacks popular support and emphasized that Governor Uzodinma enjoys no widespread popular backing in Imo State.

He went on to say that the Governor’s lack of popularity even in his own Orlu zone explains why he’s never been elected.

When asked about the upcoming election on November 11, 2023, he said, “The indicators are clear and the election will not be any different.”In a free and fair election, Governor Uzodinma would lose every single polling place in Imo, because the people of the state have finally discovered a leader who is honest, kind, and willing to work with them.
